Roof repair for tiled roofs
Most roofs in the Netherlands are covered with roof tiles. This is because they are relatively inexpensive and durable. If you have an old roof with one or more broken tiles, repairs can be carried out quickly and easily. With proper and regular maintenance, a tiled roof will last a very long time. If there are increasing defects during frost, your roof needs to be replaced. Your roof has a lot to endure and must therefore be able to withstand increasing storms. What’s more, we extract the necessary raw materials ourselves; each roof tile is made from clay from Dutch rivers. In our climate, we have to deal with many types of precipitation, such as rain, snow and hail. Roof tiles have a very long lifespan and, with proper maintenance, will last a lifetime.

Both pans are poured or cast into moulds. During this process, they are coloured with the appropriate ingredients and hardened. After colouring and hardening, your pan is glazed if you choose this option.

Concrete roof tiles
Concrete roof tiles are made of hardened cement. Concrete tiles do not need to be fired, which is better for CO2 emissions. As concrete has become increasingly popular in construction, more and more different types of improved tiles have been developed. New innovations have also been added, such as different types of coatings: environmentally friendly, heat-resistant and air-purifying coatings.
Baked roof tiles
Ceramic roof tiles are made from river clay, which makes them a purely natural product. The supply of raw materials is inexhaustible, and nature itself continuously produces new clay. A kiln is used to produce the ceramic roof tiles.
Two good reasons to choose concrete roof tiles:
1: If you are looking for the cheapest way to replace your roof tiles, concrete roof tiles are recommended. Concrete tiles are generally slightly cheaper than clay tiles, but they are also easier to lay and therefore cheaper. Concrete tiles are often slightly larger than clay tiles.
2: Concrete tiles are very dimensionally stable, which means that these tiles hardly expand or shrink when exposed to temperature differences. Concrete tiles are also generally heavy, which is also beneficial during the storms that often sweep across our country.
